Russ is the scientist of the Rescue Corps in Pikmin 4. He runs "The Lab", a shop where the player is able to spend raw materials on upgrades for themselves or Oatchi, as well as other items. Like Collin and Shepherd, he is from the planet Giya.

Personality and appearance

Russ is bald with a pear-shaped head, long, pointy ears, and light pink skin. He has small gray eyebrows, a large, pinkish nose, and two small spots of blush on his cheeks. He wears glasses and a Rescue Corps spacesuit.

Russ is enthusiastic about science, talking about it frequently. He spends much of his time inventing things in the lab of the S. S. Shepherd, some of which he uses to pull small practical jokes on his colleagues. He seems indifferent to his coworkers; however, he is close with his family, especially his mother.
