Players could enter the drawing from the app, and winners were contacted by email on {{date|8|April|2023}}. Upon arriving at the event's starting location, ticket holders received a Pikmin-themed paper sun visor. From there, they could walk around to various locations in central Sapporo. Each designated location had a [[Special Spot]], and swiping down while viewing that Special Spot from nearby would give the participant a [[Golden Seedling]] of a specific location type, and 40 cherry blossom [[nectar]]. (The nectar was still given if the nectar storage limit had been reached.) There were also 3 special missions in the Challenge List, which could be attempted simultaneously. One was to walk 7000 steps, and completing it gave a Golden Seedling that would grow into a Red Pikmin with Present Sticker (Gold) decor. One was to plant 3000 cherry blossom flowers, and completing it gave a Golden Seedling that would grow into a Yellow Pikmin with Present Sticker (Gold) decor.
