During the second part of the 2023 [[Event#2023 St. Patrick's Day|St. Patrick's Day event]], from {{date|17|March}} to {{date|31|March|2023}}, Green Mushrooms appeared and were able to be challenged. These mushrooms functioned the same way as normal mushrooms, but had a number of differences:

* Only Park [[Decor Pikmin]] could challenge them with "Four-Leaf Clover" Pikmin being the strongest.
 
* The attack power is calculated by doing the normal attack power calculation but then adding either 300 or 950 attack power, depending if it is a "Clover or "Four-Leaf Clover" Pikmin respectively.
In the first part:
* They only came in the "Medium" size.
*A set of limited-time missions are available, clearing each one unlocks a [[Golden Seedling]] with "Clover" or "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor. These Golden Seedlings can grow into any color of Pikmin.
* They had a set amount of 531,400 health.
*Every third Golden Seedling obtained from this set of missions is guaranteed to be a "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor Pikmin.
* The score thresholds are as follows:
*Golden Seedlings can also be unlocked by clearing a [[weekly challenge]] between {{date|6|March}} and {{date|2|April}}, and can grow into any color of Pikmin with "Clover" or "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor.
** 0 to 22,141 for 1-star.
*St. Patrick’s-themed [[Mii]] apparel will be added to the shop at the start of the event, and removed at the end of the event.
** 22,142 to 55,354 for 2-stars.
*All [[postcard]]s obtained during the event feature a special St. Patrick's Day background and stamp design.
** 55,355 to 90,144 for 3-stars.
In the second part:
** 90,145 onwards for 4-stars.
*All [[mushroom challenge|mushrooms]] are turned into St. Patrick's-themed mushrooms. They are green with white spots and only appear normal-sized. Only "Clover" Decor Pikmin can be used to attack these mushrooms, and "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor Pikmin have a higher attack power than standard "Clover" Decor Pikmin.
* A different [[Music in Pikmin Bloom#Green Mushroom theme|music]] track played during battles against these mushrooms.

2023 St. Patrick's Day

An event celebrating St. Patrick's Day will be held from March 1st to March 31st, 2023.[1] The event is divided into two parts; the first part starts on March 1st, and the second part on March 17th.

In the first part:

  • A set of limited-time missions are available, clearing each one unlocks a Golden Seedling with "Clover" or "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor. These Golden Seedlings can grow into any color of Pikmin.
  • Every third Golden Seedling obtained from this set of missions is guaranteed to be a "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor Pikmin.
  • Golden Seedlings can also be unlocked by clearing a weekly challenge between March 6th and April 2nd, and can grow into any color of Pikmin with "Clover" or "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor.
  • St. Patrick’s-themed Mii apparel will be added to the shop at the start of the event, and removed at the end of the event.
  • All postcards obtained during the event feature a special St. Patrick's Day background and stamp design.

In the second part:

  • All mushrooms are turned into St. Patrick's-themed mushrooms. They are green with white spots and only appear normal-sized. Only "Clover" Decor Pikmin can be used to attack these mushrooms, and "Four-Leaf Clover" Decor Pikmin have a higher attack power than standard "Clover" Decor Pikmin.
