2-Player Battle menu in Pikmin.

The 2-Player Battle menu allows the players to set up the battle settings in Pikmin 2's 2-Player Battle mode.

On the left side, there is a scrollable list with the available levels. The right side contains two sections. The top section has the battle stats, with the number of victories for each player thus far. The bottom half has the handicap settings, where players can adjust their starting number of Pikmin, in increments of five, by pressing the L Button on the GameCube controller / the + Control Pad left on the Wii Remote and the R Button on the GameCube controller / the + Control Pad right on the Wii Remote.

The bottom of the screen lists what some buttons do: the Z Button on the GameCube controller / the Z Button on the Nunchuk shows a page with the rules (pages can be switched with the R Button on the GameCube controller / the + Control Pad right on the Wii Remote and the L Button on the GameCube controller / the + Control Pad left on the Wii Remote), the A Button on the GameCube controller / the A Button on the Wii Remote starts the match, and the B Button on the GameCube controller / the B Button on the Wii Remote asks the players if they wish to return to the title screen. These controls are valid for both players.

The top of the screen has the title of the game mode, and the faces of Olimar and Louie to represent the 2 players, which change depending on the points one has over the other.
