This article has many issues in its current version. It categorizes Pikmin 2 upgrades very well, but because of the different way other games handle upgrades, it handles the others pretty badly. Pikmin 2 is weird in that it calls its upgrades different names to the treasures that give them. This makes Pikmin 3 coverage of them confusing, especially with the 3 upgrades that aren't in the second game. Then there's Hey! Pikmin, which has similar upgrades but unlocks them at Sparklium values, and Pikmin, which does upgrades similarly to Hey! Pikmin but isn't even covered in the article. So here's my suggestion. Move the descriptions of Pikmin 2 upgrades to each of the respective treasure articles, and to Explorer's Friend Series. Make Pikmin 3 upgrades their own separate treasure-style articles (as items like the Data Glutton are basically treasures). Keep this article for linking to all the other articles, and for describing the upgrades in Pikmin and Hey! Pikmin. Would that be a good idea? — Botanist(talk) 16:20, November 21, 2020 (EST) | This article has many issues in its current version. :But what about upgrades present in P2 and P3, like the Scorch Guard? If the info about how leaders are protected from fire is moved from this page to Forged Courage, readers will be forced to go to that page to read up on information about Pikmin 3. — {EspyoT} 08:09, November 22, 2020 (EST) |

Large reorganization
This article has many issues in its current version. It categorizes Pikmin 2's upgrades very well, but because of the different way other games handle upgrades, it handles the others pretty badly. Pikmin 2 is weird in that it calls its upgrades different names to the treasures that give them. This makes Pikmin 3's coverage of them confusing, especially with the 3 upgrades that aren't in the second game. Then there's Hey! Pikmin, which has similar upgrades but unlocks them at Sparklium values, and Pikmin, which does upgrades similarly to Hey! Pikmin but isn't even covered in the article. So here's my suggestion. Move the descriptions of Pikmin 2's upgrades to each of the respective treasure articles, and to Explorer's Friend Series. Make Pikmin 3's upgrades their own separate treasure-style articles (as items like the Data Glutton are basically treasures). Keep this article for linking to all the other articles, and for describing the upgrades in Pikmin and Hey! Pikmin. Would that be a good idea? — Botanist(talk) 16:20, November 21, 2020 (EST)
