Recently, I’ve spent a lot of time researching the best routes for speed running ''Pikmin'', and have had some success using the strategies by Strongman Lin on speedrun.com (Thanks for those tips, by the way!) However, because I own the ''New Play Control!'' version of the game, a lot of the C stick actions are tough to execute with a Wiimote, not to mention that the Pikmin don’t drop their bombs when whistled, the Emperor Bulblax is a lot harder, but I’ve still managed a good time of 30 parts in 13 days. I’m still working on my runs, and will be starting my sixth run of the game in the very near future. | |||

This was my first game I got in the ''Pikmin'' series. I haven’t spent very much time on speed running this game, but I plan to once I complete at least a 10 day run of the original game. I know I can definitely do better now that I know the maps better, but currently have gotten all fruits and the Plasm Wraith in (it pains me to say this,) 56 days. When I finally get around to it, I’ll probably cut this down to a number in the 20’s... I hope. | |||
