Pikmin Safari is a series of short Pikmin-related videos released on the Nintendo Video channel for the 3DS. They are spoofs on nature documentaries, with an explorer narrating them, and a cameraman following behind. In them, the explorer, identified as Winston Chumling, follows Alph and his crew, with a cameraman recording, while they all explore and interact with the environment and creatures on PNF-404, through the Garden of Hope, Distant Tundra, and Tropical Wilds. The "documentaries" are made up of Pikmin 3 footage, taken using the KopPad's camera app and the Go Here! feature.
Since Nintendo Video has been removed from the 3DS eShop, Pikmin Safari is most likely discontinued.

- [Camera pans into the S.S. Drake.]
- "Welcome to Pikmin Safari, where each episode, I, Winston Chumling, will join Alph and the Pikmin 3 crew, to speed you through the area of the perilous planet PNF-404, and if we're lucky, introduce you to some of its more interesting inhabitants."
- [Pause and "The Garden of Hope" title card.]
- "Today, we're hiking hopefully through the not-so-peaceful paradise that is the Garden of Hope."
- [Alph appears, running towards the first Bulborb and Dwarf Bulborbs in the area. The scene then changes to the cameraman as he takes a photo midway through.]
- "Cor blimey, this dodgy fellow is a Dwarf Bulborb. Yes, silly, dwarfs have Bulborbs too, only theirs are smaller, younger, and less...bulbous, I suppose."
- [The cameraman moves forward and snaps the Red Bulborb.]
- "Unlike that tubby-muffin sleeping over there. Now, we mustn't breathe a word, or –"
- [Bulborb wakes up.]
- "We're done talking! Leg it, mate, run!"
- [Different part of the area, with an electric gate.]
- "Phew! Right. We're safe now. Let's look for a way forward. That electric gate does not look inviting. Hmm, whoever left it there must've been far more intelligent than a simple Pikmin."
- [Section of the area where Blue Pikmin are found.]
- "Ah, what's this? A data file? Interesting. It seems this exploration note was left behind by a famous captain. What was his name again? Old Boy? Mario? No... O-Olimar! That's the one. I wonder if he's lost here as well."
- [A White Spectralid flies nearby.]
- "Wait, what's that? Why, if it isn't a White Spectralid. It may seem rather dull, but unlike most creatures on PNF-404, it won't try to nosh your entrails. That means it's lovely-jubbly by me, old chap. The last thing you want to do is get mixed up with the wrong sort in a place like this."
- [Camera zooms in to some Pikmin in bubbles and a Waddlepus in the distance.]
- "What's this, then? Pikmin floating in bubbles? That does not seem safe. Ahem, cameraman, why are we nearing something that does not seem safe? Let's not get quite so... Too close!"
- [Alph gets trapped in a bubble.]
- "In a bubble. Definitely. In. A. Bubble."
- [Alph pops out of the bubble.]
- "There, let's just get out of here and get our Pikmin back to the Onion."
- [Scene changes to the landing site.]
- "Speaking of... There she is, mate, the Onion! The happy home of Pikmin lucky enough not to die terrible deaths. It will follow you throughout your journeys on PNF-404."
- [Camera zooms in on distant Pellet Posy.]
- "Now, if Pikmin get their mitts on this Pellet Posy and take it back to the Onion, it will spawn extra Pikmin. It's the bee's knees, and so is the stonking plate of fish and chips in my near future. In other words, this tour is near its end. Which means: fish and chips, here I – fiddlesticks."
- [Alph moves to the Bulborb from before, where some Pikmin kill it and carry it back.]
- "Seems our Pikmin have made a dog's dinner of that situation. Seems like that got the job done, though. Their lives were not in vain. Good work, boys! Or... Wait, are Pikmin male, or are they birds? I must have a note card about this somewhere. But regardless, we'll see you next time on Pikmin Safari."
- [Closing title card.]
- "For now, though, pip pip, Pikmin fans!"

- [Pause and "The Distant Tundra" title card.]
- "Today, we're plodding prudently through the winter wonderland that is the Distant Tundra."
- [Alph running through the bridges near the landing site.]
- "Right now, we're crossing a makeshift bridge that, moments earlier, was a mere pile of scraps. Luckily, a fearless team of Pikmin was able to piece it together so we could cross."
- [Alph enters the section with the Arctic Cannon Larvae and Whiptongue Bulborb.]
- "Ah-ha! Looks like Alph has spotted a Whiptongue Bulborb! Let's use this geyser to – ooh! – climb the ledge, like that. Now, let's dodge these dodgy Arctic Cannon Larvae..."
- [Alph is at the top of the cliff, near the Bulborb.]

- "Much better. Let's take it slow for a moment, shall we? Or we could just hurl our bodies recklessly down an icy slo – oh-oh-ooohh!"
- [Camera static, and the scene resumes at the point at the end of the slope.]
- "Typical Winston. Waffling on while I'm about to leave my blooming stomach behind. Let's see... Ah! Swooping Snitchbug! Don't let him pick your Pikmin up with those long arms of his! Actually... How does he even stay afloat? Antenna wing to body ratio... blowing... mind! Ugh... just don't think about it."
- [Scene changes to Alph and some Pikmin near the Yellow Pikmin discovery site.]
- "Right, moving along... Oh dear, another slide. I hate these thi – iiihiiings! ...I need a new job, since that last time I let some blooming Nintendo exec buy me with biscuits and tea."
- [Alph and crew are now near the Burgeoning Spiderwort pot.]
- "Cor blimey! That Joustmite is rather deadly. He can skewer soft-bellied Pikmin, which isn't as tasty as it sounds. His booty is his weakness, so get behind, give him a good smack, and Bob's your uncle. It's a British expression; I have no idea what it means."
- [Scene changes to Alph leading some Pikmin into the water, resulting in some of them drowning.]
- "All right, let's see what's ne – eeegh..."
- [Scene changes to Alph and Blue Pikmin underwater.]
- "And Alph's underwater now. Brilliant. Luckily, those Blue Pikmin can breathe underwater."
- [Alph running away from an Bearded Amprat as a message appears on-screen, with Alph saying "Oh, no! We're losing Pikmin somewhere!".]
- "Hmm. What did happen to Alph's other Pikmin? Oh well. We'll see you next time on Pikmin Safari."
- [Closing title card.]
- "For now, though, pip pip, Pikmin fans!"
Tropical Wilds
{{#ev:youtube|bETph7y4qFs|450}}
The final episode takes place on the Tropical Wilds. It was released on January 8th, 2014, and is 2:10 minutes in length. The song for the Garden of Hope plays throughout the documentary.

- [Pause and "The Tropical Wilds" title card.]
- "Today we're trudging trepidaciously through the bitter-sweet wonderland that is the Tropical Wilds."
- [Alph appears walking towards the beach section at the north of the Tropical Wilds.]
- "Ah! First up is the Fiery Blowhog. In addition to hot air, he blows fire, but is easily defeated by the flame-resistant Red Pikmin. He's also a jerk. Now, as long as we don't run into anything too dangerous, like a Peckish Aristocrab, we should be – Cor blimey, a Peckish Aristocrab! Fear not though, chaps. His claw can be broken with a few smacks of a Rock Pikmin. Steady lads, or he'll nosh your little friends like he's me and they're meat pies. Mmm...meat pie."
- [Scene changes to Alph getting attacked by the Aristocrab.]
- "Goodness! Look out! Well cameraman, that was gobsmacking brilliant. ...I fancy a meat pie. You shall not elude me."
- [Scene switches to a Burgeoning Spiderwort.]
- "Oh, ooh! An ultra-spicy berry will do. That can be used to make ultra-spicy spray, which riles up Pikmin, and makes them into little flower children. Not hippies as it were, but just as easy-going and far more productive."
- [Alph appears moving towards the section with the Pyroclasmic Slooches.]
- "Look out, mates! Pyroclasmic Slooch, incoming! These chaps with slimy flame parts can nosh Pikmin with their tongues. Let's see if we can get close without getting – too close! Too close! Clear off, mates, he'll eat your belly fruit!"
- [Camera static.]
- "There seems to be a vicious pattern to this expedition. I'll see you in a bit; our cameraman just needs a [incomprehensible]."
- [Alph walks towards the Shaggy Long Legs arena.]
- "And we're back. Taking in the beauty of PNF-404 like it's a fresh-baked meat pie. Clear skies, waterfalls, and – Cor blimey! That is most definitely a Shaggy Long Legs. What with those shaggy long legs, it seems pretty blooming clear: this is not the sort of creature you want to have a row with. It will stomp your Pikmin if they're not careful, and, well, they'll look like pavement pizza when he's done with them. Climb Pikmin! Climb and do your worst! ...They're not paying me enough for this, so we'll see you next time on Pikmin Safari."
- [Closing title card.]
