Featured articles are articles that are notorious for their quality and importance. They should be complete in content, well written, follow the policies and interesting enough to be put on the front page. They should also have a very minimal amount of tasks that need to be done, and should not be about spoiler-heavy subjects.

In order to keep the front page fresh, but to not overload the editors, the featured article is changed every two months. To decide what article to feature next, all editors are encouraged to nominate and vote on articles. When the time comes to change to a new article, one trusted editor gets tasked with checking the nominations, discussing with the community tie-breakers and other details, and update the front page. Detailed instructions for that editor can be found on the talk page.

Hint

A hint in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. This is the default one shown if no other hints apply to the player's current situation. After closing the menu, arrows will appear on the ground.
The default hint, telling the player to keep moving ahead.

Hints are a game mechanic in Pikmin 3 Deluxe that give advice on what to do in the game. Their purpose is to assist players who are not sure what to do to advance in the game's story. Hints consist of some text, some images, and in most cases, arrows on the ground pointing towards the next destination.
