Stones are found in small piles in both Pikmin, and Pikmin 2 and their use is exactly the same as that of the Nectar Weed. Pikmin begin to dig at the stones as they pass over it or are directed to it by the Captain. Stones sometimes produce Nectar as Pikmin destroy it.
As with the Nectar Weed, stones are found in every area in Pikmin, and only in overworld locations such as the Perplexing Pool and Wistful Wild in Pikmin 2.
