Hostile Territory is a Pikmin 2 arena for 2-player battle. It is also one of the areas with a mass number of enemies.
Area Contains:
- Eggs,
- Blowhogs (Both kinds),
- Anode Beetles,
- Careening Dirigibugs,
- Bomb-rocks,
- Cherries (From the sky),
- Yellow Marbles (Some buried in the ground)
Hazards:
- Electric nodes
- Fire
- Water
Dangers:
- Throwing pikmin in the endless void.
Strategies:
- Unlike the single player game, walking next to a bomb rock causes you to pick it up.
- When your opponent is not moving, you can decrease the pikmin count on your opponent's team by throwing a Bomb-Rock at them, unlike all pikmin, Bomb-Rocks are thrown farther, so don't use the pointer on the blue (or red) pikmin.
