These aid the player by giving [[Olimar]] and his companion new abilities, such as [[Repugnant Appendage\|running faster]] and [[Stellar Orb\|lighting up]] the surroundings in caves. The treasures from the Kit are held by the bosses of each cave from the first three area, with the exception of the [[Brute Knuckles]], which are held by a [[Mamuta]] in the [[Frontier Cavern]]. The Frontier Cavern therefore has two upgrading treasures. The [[Wistful Wild#Caves\|three caves]] in the [[Wistful Wild]] do not have any of these special treasures.
