The following is a list of events in Pikmin Bloom that featured Decor Pikmin, by year.
2021[edit]
2021 Holiday Event[edit]
The 2021 Holiday Event took place from December 21st, 2021 at 10:00 until January 11th, 2022 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[1]
- This event introduced the Winter Sticker Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear large stickers with different winter-inspired designs, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- During the event period, any Roadside Decor Pikmin that were discovered grew into Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin.
- As long as the Pikmin's seedling was discovered during the event period, it would grow into a Winter Sticker Decor Pikmin upon reaching 4 hearts and retrieving it's gift expedition.
- Coins were earned at a faster rate. Instead of 1 for every 500 flower planted, 1 was rewarded for every 250 flowers planted. Instead of the usual maximum of 30 coins per day, 60 coins were available to earn every day for the duration of the event.[2]

2022 Lunar New Year Event[edit]
The 2022 Lunar New Year Event took place from February 1st at 00:00 until February 10th, 2022 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[3]
- This event introduced the Lunar New Year Ornament Special Decor Pikmin type, exclusive to Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin. These Decor Pikmin wear red decorations with a gold 福 character, signifying "good luck" or "good fortune", with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- Huge Seedlings marked with the Special Decor icon grew into a random type of Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin.
- While walking, these Huge Seedlings appeared randomly. They were more likely to be discovered in places where seedlings hadn't been found before, could not be found using the detector, and only one Huge Seedling could be in the player's seedling storage or Planter Pack at a time.
- Special Slots were available in the shop for 25% less coins.
This event was announced via the in-game news section on January 29th, but only in certain regions. The worldwide public announcement didn't occur until February 1st, 2022.[4]
2022 St. Patrick's Day Event[edit]
The 2022 St. Patrick's Day Event took place from March 17th at 00:00 until March 20th, 2022 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[5][6]
- This event introduced Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin to the Park Decor type. These Decor Pikmin wear clovers with four leaves, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- Huge Seedlings marked with the Special Decor icon grew into a random type of Clover or Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin, with an estimated 50% chance for a Four-Leaf Clover.
- While walking, these Huge Seedlings appeared randomly. They were more likely to be discovered in places where seedlings hadn't been found before, could not be found using the detector, and only one Huge Seedling could be in the player's seedling storage or Planter Pack at a time.
Although they were introduced during the event, Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin were still available after the event ended, at an estimated 10% chance from all Park-type Decor Pikmin.

- This event introduced the Flower Card Special Decor Pikmin type, exclusive to Red, Yellow, Blue, and Purple Pikmin. These Decor Pikmin wear hanafuda cards, with 6 unique designs for each type of Pikmin.
- During the event period, a set of 20 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required a simple task to complete, and each mission that was completed rewarded a Gold Seedling that grew into a random type of the available Flower Card Decor Pikmin. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Gold Seedlings for Flower Card Decor Pikmin could also be obtained by completing a weekly challenge.

Initially, there were some complications with the first mission. At the start of the event, the mission was to walk 10,000 steps, but no steps were counting towards it.[11] After a few hours, the mission was changed to "Plant 1,000 white flowers" for players who hadn't opened the app yet, and a few hours later, people who had started the mission when it wasn't working had it automatically completed, even if they hadn't walked 10,000 steps yet.[12][13]
2022 Halloween Event[edit]
The 2022 Halloween Event took place from October 14th at 00:00 until October 31st, 2022 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[14]
- This event introduced the Jack-o'-Lantern Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear Jack-o'-Lantern pumpkins, with a unique designs for each type of Pikmin.
- The event was divided into two parts; the first part started on October 14th, and the second part on October 24th.
In the first part:
- A set of 20 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required a simple task to complete, usually flower planting. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Gold Seedlings from missions and from weekly challenges grew into a Purple, White, Rock, or Winged Jack-o'-Lantern Decor Pikmin.
In the second part:
- Halloween Mushrooms were introduced, coming only in the "Large" size. Jack-o'-Lantern Decor Pikmin had a much higher attack power than other Pikmin. All mushrooms were converted to these mushrooms at the start of the event, and continued to appear throughout the event.
- Another set of 10 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required the destruction of Halloween Mushrooms to be completed. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- These missions could be attempted alongside the missions from the first part.

1st Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin[edit]
The 1st Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin Event took place from November 1st at 00:00 until November 15th, 2022 at 23:59 local time. This event was initially supposed to end on November 14th, but due to problems with mission progress saving on the first day, it was extended to end one day later.[15] Features of this event included:[16]
- This event introduced the First Anniversary Snack Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear snacks with a unique First Anniversary design, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- During the event period, a set of 20 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required a simple task to complete, and each mission that was completed rewarded a Gold Seedling that grew into a random type of First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
In Japan, players did not receive event missions. Instead, there were Special Spots at Lawsons locations which rewarded a Huge Seedling that grew into 1st Anniversary Snack. This was due to a promotion at Lawsons location where people could purchase Pikmin themed smoothies, Pikmin themed merchandise, and participate in the Pikmin Ichiban Kuji.[17]

- This event introduced the Koppaite Space Suit Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear the space suits worn by the leaders in Pikmin 3. The Blue Pikmin wears Alph's suit, the Red Pikmin wears Brittany's suit, and the Yellow Pikmin wears Charlie's suit.
- From November 15th, three new Special Badges were available, each featuring one of the leaders in Pikmin 3. These were obtainable by completing special missions focused on the total number of steps taken, and were available until December 9th, 2022. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- From November 28th until the end of the event, 3 flower planting missions were made available to complete. Each mission rewarded a Gold Seedling that grew into one of the Koppaite Space Suit Decor Pikmin. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- A new Backpack Mii part was added, called the Pikmin 3 Onion-Style Backpack, which has a design similar to the Onions in Pikmin 3. To obtain it, the players Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom must have Pikmin 3 Deluxe save data from before December 9th, 2022, and a My Nintendo reward code must be redeemed. This backpack was unintentionally made available early, on November 10th.

- This event introduced the Mitten Special Decor Pikmin type, exclusive to Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin. These Decor Pikmin wear gloves and mittens on their head, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- For the last 5 days, this event ran alongside the 2023 New Years Event.
- During the event period, a set of 10 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required a simple task to complete, and each mission that was completed rewarded a Gold Seedling that grew into a random type of Mitten Decor Pikmin. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Completing all 10 missions guaranteed that at least one Mitten Decor Pikmin of the three types was obtained.
- Gold Seedlings for Mitten Decor Pikmin could also be obtained by completing a weekly challenge.
- Holiday-themed Mii costumes were available in the shop for the duration of the event.
- Postcards obtained during the event featured a special Winter themed background and stamp designs.

- This event introduced the 2023 Glasses Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear appropriately sized New Year's glasses on their heads, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- For the first 5 days, this event ran alongside the 2022 Mitten Decor Pikmin Event.
- Huge Seedlings marked with the Special Decor icon grew into a random type of 2023 Glasses Decor Pikmin.
- While walking, these Huge Seedlings appeared randomly. They were more likely to be discovered in places where seedlings hadn't been found before, could not be found using the detector, and only one Huge Seedling could be in the player's seedling storage or Planter Pack at a time.
- 2023 Glasses for the players Mii were available in the shop for the duration of the event. Purchasing glasses unlocked a bonus mission to plant 2,023 flowers of a specific color, which rewarded a Gold Seedling for the matching 2023 Glasses Decor Pikmin.
- Gold Seedlings from inviting friends grew into a random type of 2023 Glasses Decor Pikmin.
- Both a Gold Seedling and a special Huge Seedling could be held in the player's seedling storage or Planter Pack at the same time.

- This event introduced new designs of the Lunar New Year Ornament Special Decor Pikmin type for Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin. The existing Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin from the 2022 Lunar New Year Event were also available to obtain.
- During the event period, two sets of 12 missions were made available to complete. Each mission required a simple task to complete, and each mission that was completed rewarded a Gold Seedling that grew into a random type of Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Missions under the "Easy" category rewarded Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin with a red ornament, and missions under the "Slightly Harder" category rewarded Lunar New Year Ornament Decor Pikmin with a new gold ornament.

In the first part:
- A set of 30 missions was made available to complete. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Every third Gold Seedling obtained from this set of missions was guaranteed to be a Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin.

In the second part:
- Green Mushrooms were introduced, coming only in the "Normal" size. Only Clover and Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin could only be used to attack these mushrooms, and Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin had a much higher attack power than Clover Decor Pikmin. All mushrooms were converted to these mushrooms at the start of the event, and continued to appear throughout the event.
- Another set of 30 missions was made available to complete. Each mission required the destruction of Green Mushrooms to be completed. Missions were unlocked in consecutive order after completing the previous one.
- Every third Gold Seedling obtained from this set of missions was guaranteed to be a Four-Leaf Clover Decor Pikmin.
- These missions could be attempted alongside the missions from the first part.

- Gold Seedlings for these Decor Pikmin could be obtained by completing a weekly challenge, and by purchasing Special Mission Tickets or Special Completion Tickets in the shop.
- From November 6th to November 12th, Gold Seedlings grew into Sneaker Keychain Decor Pikmin, and Special Mission Tickets or Special Completion Tickets rewarded Gold Seedlings for Sneaker Keychain Decor Pikmin. Sneaker Mii costumes were also available to purchase during this period of the event.

- This event introduced the Spring Sticker Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear large stickers with different spring-inspired designs, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- This event ran alongside the 2024 Spring Festival Event and the 2024 Earth Day Event.
- Seedlings rewarded from the completion of weekly challenges and from Spring Festival Eggs grew into a random type of Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin.
- The Gold Seedling reward applied to both step and flower weekly challenges. If players left a weekly challenge before it had been completed, they would not receive the Gold Seedling.
- Spring Festival Eggs could be obtained from battles against Spring Festival mushrooms.
- Special Mission Tickets were available in the shop after April 17th.
- During the event, Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin were stronger against mushrooms. Against normal mushrooms, they gained an additional 15 points of attack power. Against Spring Festival mushrooms, they gained an additional 200 points of attack power.
2024 Earth Day Event[edit]
From April 22nd to April 30th, 2024, a unique type of event took place, with a focus on flower planting. During the event period, all players were tasked with 3 large amounts of total flowers to be planted collectively as a community. Reaching each milestone granted a Gold Seedling of a specific type of Decor Pikmin.[31]
- This event ran alongside the 2024 Spring Festival Event and the 2024 Spring Sticker Decor Pikmin Event.
- The three milestones progressively increased. When 3,000,000,000 total flowers were planted, all players were given a Gold Seedling for a random forest-type Acorn Decor Pikmin. When 6,000,000,000 total flowers were planted, all players were given a Gold Seedling for a random beach-type Shell Decor Pikmin. When the final goal of 10,000,000,000 total flowers was reached, all players were given a Gold Seedling for a White Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin.
- There were no specific requirements for which flowers to plant. All types of flowers counted towards the goal.
- The Gold Seedlings could not be obtained if the game was not opened before May 6th, 2024.
- There was no way to view the total flowers planted as a community in-game. Each day, on the official social media accounts for the game, an update was posted showing the total amount of flowers that had been planted since the last update. As each milestone was reached, a unique image relating to the type of Decor Pikmin that was rewarded was posted alongside the update.

- The event was divided into 2 parts. The first part started on May 18th, and the second part started on May 25th, 2024.
In the first part:
- Mystery Boxes from destroying Bizarre mushrooms had a chance to give Huge or Gold Seedlings for Koppaite Space Suit or Pikmin 4 Spaceship Decor Pikmin.
- The number of mushroom battles available to do in a day was increased from 3 to 5.
- The Community Day Badge from the first Community Day was able to be obtained by purchasing a Special Mission Ticket from the shop.
- The Special Badges from the 1st Anniversary Pikmin 3 Deluxe Event were also able to be obtained by purchasing a Special Mission Ticket from the shop. Each individual badge had it's own ticket available for purchase.
In the second part:
- Seasonal flowers from November 2023 through April 2024 were available in the shop as 180-petal containers.
- Community Day Badges that were originally available during the last 6 month's Community Days were obtainable. To earn them, 2,500 flowers of the corresponding flower type had to be planted. The obtainable badges from this event were: Chrysanthemum, Helleborus, Cattleya, Yellow Plum Blossom, Hyacinth, and Sweet Pea.
- If all Community Day badges between November 2023 and April 2024 had been obtained, an additional hard mission was made available, requiring 25,000 flowers to be planted. The reward for completing the mission was a Golden Hat for the player's Mii.
All features of the first part of the event were active during the second part of the event.

2024 Puzzle Decor Pikmin Event[edit]
The 2024 Puzzle Decor Pikmin Event took place from September 14th at 00:00 until September 30th, 2024 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[35]
- This event introduced new designs of the Puzzle Special Decor Pikmin type for all Pikmin types, referred to as Puzzle: 2024 Fall Memories.
- This event ran alongside the 2024 Paint Event.
- After the event started, players received a new set of missions to collect Paint Brushes. These missions could be completed alongside the Event Currency missions for the 2024 Paint Event.
- Any previously collected Event Currency retroactively counted for the new Event Currency missions.
- Gold Seedlings rewarded from the completion of weekly challenges and from Event Currency missions grew into a random type of the available Puzzle Decor Pikmin.

The 2024 Fall Sticker Event took place from October 14th at 00:00 until October 31st, 2024 at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:[36]
- This event introduced the Fall Sticker Sticker Special Decor Pikmin type. These Decor Pikmin wear large stickers with different fall-inspired designs, with a unique design for each type of Pikmin.
- This event ran alongside the 2024 Halloween Event.
- After the event started, players received a new set of missions to collect Ghostly Matchsticks. These missions could be completed alongside the Event Currency missions for the 2024 Halloween Event.
- Any previously collected Ghostly Matchsticks retroactively counted for the new Event Currency missions.
