The Delectable Bouquet (ムカムカノミ?, lit.: "Irritating Flowerless Fruit") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a fig. In Pikmin 3, it is found in the Tropical Wilds and the Twilight River, and when collected, it gives the leaders one and a half bottles of juice (three-fourths in Ultra-Spicy mode). In Pikmin 4, it can be found in the Cradle of the Beast and the Primordial Thicket.

Tropical Wilds[edit]

In the Tropical Wilds, a Delectable Bouquet is found on the tree branch in which the Red Onion was stuck on the first day. Simply enter the cave right behind the Onion at the landing site and follow the path back to where Alph first crashed. There will be new enemies in this area, including a Bulborb, three Dwarf Bulborbs, several types of Sheargrubs, and a Pyroclasmic Slooch in the cave. Be sure to take these out before plucking the fruit.

Twilight River[edit]

In the Twilight River, a Delectable Bouquet is found on a high slope right behind the reinforced wall in the landing site that leads to the area with the Flighty Joustmite. Winged Pikmin or Yellow Pikmin are required to reach it. You can either wait until you can access the higher ground and throw Yellow Pikmin at it, or you can simply lock-on and charge Winged Pikmin to it if you have at least eight of them.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

Cradle of the Beast[edit]

There is a Delectable Bouquet inside of a Fiery Bulblax near the north of sublevel 1 of the Cradle of the Beast. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Fiery Bulblax, then throw 10 Pikmin at it.

Primordial Thicket[edit]

There is a Delectable Bouquet half-buried in a dirt mound in the northeastern room of the overworld. It is guarded by a Grubchucker, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 10 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Brittany's notes

US version US version
Crazy! We cut this open, and it's filled with tiny, white flowers, meaning it's not technically a fruit at all. Analysis also indicates that it won't be ripe very long before it starts to rot... I think I'll save this one for the captain.

Bizarre! We cut this open and it's filled with tiny, white flowers, meaning it's not technically a fruit at all. Analysis also indicates that it won't be ripe very long before it starts to rot. Never mind! I can always feed it to the Captain.

Schnauz's notes[edit]

Eat this fruit before it's ripe, and you'll never do it a second time. Yuck and blech! But you mustn't get angry. No, let this be a lesson in patience. For you see, those with the discipline to wait until the perfect time to eat the Delectable Bouquet...they will be greatly rewarded!

Olimar's notes[edit]

While observing the plant bear fruit, I was unable to work out where and when the flowers bloomed. I was so frustrated that I couldn't figure out basic botany... But all those annoying feelings faded away as soon as I bit into the fruit's sweet flesh.

Louie's notes[edit]

Not just a snack, but a cleansing opportunity for your whole body! Try them dried for a chewy treat.
