In 2013, Sanei re-released the plushes from the Pikmin 2 set, except for Oilmar and Louie. The only notable distinguishing features between the 2013 set and the plushes from 2004 are the tags sewn onto the 2013 plushes, which were changed, and the rebranded square paper tag on the plushes. This re-release had multiple variations for the tags that were seen sewn onto the plushes, with a large rectangular tag and a taller but less broad square tag being known to exist for plushes from this re-release. Both tags feature a Pikmin logo made from leaves.

This is a list of officially licensed Pikmin plushes.

World of Nintendo Pikmin plushes[edit]

The World of Nintendo line, created by Jakks Pacific, released a collection of Pikmin plushes. These were sold in sets of multiple series, along with other Nintendo characters. The Pikmin plushes themselves are approximately 19 cm tall. The Red Pikmin and Winged Pikmin were available in their leaf stage, with the Yellow Pikmin and White Pikmin both having a flower. The Blue Pikmin is the only plush with a bud.

Notes
  • The Winged Pikmin plush is called "Pink" Pikmin; this is believed to be an error.
  • A Purple Pikmin plush was "leaked" by Amazon in November of 2016[1]; however, it's not guaranteed to ever be released.

Club Nintendo Pikmin plushes[edit]

Exclusively released in July 2013 for 2000 Stars on Europe's old reward system, Club Nintendo, this set consists of a leaf Red Pikmin, a flower Yellow Pikmin, and a bud Blue Pikmin.

Note
  • Some reviewers of Pikmin 3 received these for free as a bonus.

Sanei Pikmin plushes[edit]

Pikmin plushes[edit]

On April 20th, 2002, nine Pikmin plushes were released by the Japanese company Sanei. The plushes consist of a Red Pikmin, a Yellow Pikmin, and a Blue Pikmin, each with either a leaf, bud, or flower.

Pikmin 2 plushes[edit]

On April 29th, 2004, Sanei re-released and re-tagged the first set of plushes to focus on Pikmin 2, as well as releasing nine more plushes. These new plushes consisted of Purple Pikmin and White Pikmin, each with either a leaf, bud, or flower variant, as well as a plush for Olimar, Louie, and a Red Bulborb. The Red Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, Olimar, and Louie plushes are all approximately 17.8 cm long, while the Purple Pikmin is around 22.9 cm, the White Pikmin is about 15.2 cm, and the Red Bulborb stands at roughly 25.4 cm.

Pikmin 2013 plushes[edit]

In 2013, Sanei re-released the plushes from the Pikmin 2 set, except for Oilmar and Louie. The only notable distinguishing features between the 2013 set and the plushes from 2004 are the tags sewn onto the 2013 plushes, which were changed, and the rebranded square paper tag on the plushes. This re-release had multiple variations for the tags that were seen sewn onto the plushes, with a large rectangular tag and a taller but less broad square tag being known to exist for plushes from this re-release. Both tags feature a Pikmin logo made from leaves.

All Star Collection[edit]

On April 10th, 2018, Sanei released a brand new set of Pikmin plushes. The "All Star Collection" contains re-designed versions of the three primary types of Pikmin. Excluding the Purple Pikmin and White Pikmin, the set now consists of a Rock Pikmin and Winged Pikmin instead. The Red Pikmin has a leaf, with the Yellow Pikmin having a bud, while the Blue Pikmin, Rock Pikmin, and Winged Pikmin all have a flower, matching the colors of how said flowers appear in Pikmin 3 and Hey! Pikmin. These five Pikmin are also accompanied by updated designs of the Olimar and Red Bulborb plushes from the second release. Olimar's suit, rather than being covered in vinyl, is now a softer, felt-like material and includes a few more details that the original didn't have, whereas the Bulborb only received minor adjustments, like the eyes and white spots on the back no longer being stitched on but instead what appears to be more felt. The Bulborb's legs are now also partially covered in red, similar to how it's seen in-game.

On August 11th, 2021, wave 2 of the "All Star Collection" was released. This wave included plushes of Louie, a Purple Pikmin with a bud, and a White Pikmin with a flower. The Purple Pikmin and White Pikmin are nearly identical to their Pikmin 2 counterparts. Louie's suit has been changed similarly to how Olimar's suit was changed, and his backpack is now a life-support system.

On September 16th, 2023 two new plushes were added to the "All Star Collection", those being Oatchi and an Ice Pikmin with a flower. Followed later in February 2024, by a new plush made out of glow-in-the-dark fabric, this being a plush of the Glow Pikmin from Pikmin 4. Sanei announced that in June 2024, a plush of Moss will come to the "All Star Collection".

Keyring plushes and plush containers[edit]

In 2013, Sanei released a similar lineup of smaller 12.7 cm plushes that also function as a keychain. The set contains a leaf Red Pikmin, a bud Yellow Pikmin, a flower Blue Pikmin, a bud Purple Pikmin, and a flower White Pikmin. Alongside these keyring plushes, they also released three Pikmin plushes which also acted as containers. These include a flower Red Pikmin attached to a grassy box, a bud Yellow Pikmin clinging onto a cup designed to look like a log, and a leaf Blue Pikmin holding a mug, with the word "Pikmin" written on the side.

Taito Pikmin withdrawal plush mascots[edit]

These Pikmin plushes, made by Taito, were only released in Japan. The set consists of a flower Red Pikmin, a leaf Yellow Pikmin, and a bud Blue Pikmin. The plushes, when placed into the dirt blocks, stand 12.7 cm tall and come with a metallic loop, allowing them to be hung up. They can be pushed into and partially pulled out of their dirt blocks, allowing them to be "plucked from the ground".

Note
  • Though the Pikmin can be pulled out of their dirt blocks, they're still attached with a string, meaning this gimmick only functions in a limited range of motion.

Banpresto Pikmin plushes[edit]

In late May 2002, Banpresto released ten Pikmin plushes as amusement prizes. The set consists of leaf, bud, and flower varieties of the Red, Blue, and Yellow Pikmin, as well as a Bulborb. The Pikmin stand 15 cm tall, and the Bulborb stands 18 cm tall.

Tam Pikmin plushes[edit]

Pikmin pouch plushes[edit]

A set of three Pikmin plushes were released only in Japan on June 21st, 2002, while the Bulborb was released in July of that year, by the company Tam. The set consists of a bud Red Pikmin, a flower Yellow Pikmin, a leaf Blue Pikmin, and a Bulborb. The plushes have a zipper on the back, allowing things to be put inside, and a loop on the top for hanging them.

Pikmin holding pillow plushes[edit]

These plushes were released at the same time as the Pikmin pouch plushes. They are roughly 130 cm tall and use a slightly altered design of the pouch plushes but with no zipper on the back.

Sega Pikmin plushes[edit]

Released on April 25th, 2002, this set consists of three plushes in total: a leaf Red Pikmin, a flower Yellow Pikmin, and a bud Blue Pikmin. They are all around 83 cm tall. They all have the desaturated appearance of Pikmin when the Pikmin are idle.

Nihon Auto Toy Pikmin plushes[edit]

Released on May 27th, 2002, by the Nihon Auto Toy Company, this set consists of a Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin plush, standing approximately 13 cm tall, with all three being available in every stage of maturity (leaf, bud, flower). There is also a Bulborb plush, which is around 23 cm tall. The Bulborb's mouth acts as a sort of small pouch, allowing Pikmin to be put inside, among other things. The Pikmin plushes are made of a silky fabric, while the Bulborb is more felt-like, with actual hard buttons for the white spots on a Bulborb's back. These plushes were never made commercially available, but were rather given out as free gifts, presumably as prizes at Japanese amusement parks.

Sekiguchi Pikmin magnetic plushes[edit]

On November 20th, 2002, the company Sekiguchi made magnetic Pikmin plushes. Consisting of a Red Pikmin, a Yellow Pikmin, and a Blue Pikmin, all three types were only available in their flower stage. These Pikmin are made out of a taffeta material with two magnets placed inside them (one in the head and one in the body).

To coincide with the release of their magnetic plushes, Sekiguchi also released these Pikmin plushes. Three types exist: a bud Red Pikmin, a leaf Yellow Pikmin, and a flower Blue Pikmin.
