The '''Trackanator''' is an item that can chase enemies
The '''Trackonator''' ({{j|オッカケバクダン|Okkake bakudan|Chase bomb}}) is a [[pack]] item in ''Pikmin 4'', which follows enemies and then [[Explosion|explodes]]. They can be purchased from [[Russ]] or found in the Mystery Capsule's roulette wheel during [[Dandori Battle]]s. A Trackonator will start detonating as soon as it lands on solid ground and can home in on an [[enemy]] before it explodes. It cannot home in on Pikmin outside of Dandori Battles. If a Trackonator is thrown into a [[Candypop Bud]], or if an enemy trying to eat it was interrupted, it will become inactive and not home in on any other enemies. In this state it is able to be picked up by Pikmin and the Rescue Officer.

The Trackonator (オッカケバクダン?, lit.: "Chase bomb") is a pack item in Pikmin 4, which follows enemies and then explodes. They can be purchased from Russ or found in the Mystery Capsule's roulette wheel during Dandori Battles. A Trackonator will start detonating as soon as it lands on solid ground and can home in on an enemy before it explodes. It cannot home in on Pikmin outside of Dandori Battles. If a Trackonator is thrown into a Candypop Bud, or if an enemy trying to eat it was interrupted, it will become inactive and not home in on any other enemies. In this state it is able to be picked up by Pikmin and the Rescue Officer.
