I know we can't update the page until the game is released and we can see proper, but I think the new "baby snagret" enemies are actually examples of the Burrowing Snarrow, at least, if Olimar's Notes about wing markings match up with the apparent nubs on the side of the baby snagrets' body. Is the snarrow mentioned at all in the Japanese versions of the series? [[User:Amnesiacjournal|Amnesiacjournal]] ([[User talk:Amnesiacjournal|talk]]) 17:30, February 15, 2023 (EST) | |||

Regarding the white Snagret, it seems much more likely that that was just the beta design of the Burrowing Snagret. I mean, you may or may not believe that Burrowing Snarrows might look like that, but to say it was intended to be a totally different species than the final version is a bit far fetched. It's still interesting and probably worth mentioning, but would you happen to have a better picture, preferably one that isn't black and white? —Jimbo Jambo

Well, it will remain baseless until someone manages to figure out what olimar means by the presents and absents of wing marks.--Prof. 19:51, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I think it means the presence and absence of wings, which might mean the snarrow has wings. -PikminExpert
Let me check...--Prof. 13:16, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
It says they can be destinguished by the presence or absents of tail or wing markings... But your idea, Expert, is a pretty funny and strange thought, a bird half-way in the ground trying to fly off. :P--Prof. 13:19, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
It could be like the Pileated Snagret. It burrows, but can also leave the ground. -PikminExpert
