Hi there! I'm Midnight blue. I'm a rather new contributor to Pikipedia, but an almost life-long Pikmin fan. Welcome to my user page! There's not a lot to see here, but I hope you enjoy your visit regardless.

==About me==
I'm based out of the United States. I was born in 1996 and was raised on Nintendo games on the Nintendo 64 and GameCube, so I've been a Nintendo person ever since. I was introduced to the Pikmin series when I stumbled across a copy of Pikmin 2 at a GameStop in 2004 or 2005. Something about it grabbed my interest, so I took it home and played it despite it being the second game in the series, and I fell in love from there. I played through the first game a few years later, and I've been following new Pikmin releases and news ever since.

I created an account here on Pikipedia back in 2017 with the hopes of helping contribute info for the then-recently released Hey! Pikmin, but life got in the way and by the time I was able to commit time to the wiki, most of what was still needed was stuff I just couldn't provide (namely screenshots from a 3DS game.) So my account just kind of went dormant until Pikmin 3 Deluxe came around. I also have a budding interest in emulating and modding Pikmin games, though I'm entirely new to the practice.

I consider myself a pretty casual player of the Pikmin series, so I don't have any impressive records, nor do I  really keep track of any of that stuff to begin with. While I enjoy the gameplay of the franchise, I find myself equally (or possibly even ''more'') invested in what lore the series provides about things like a version of Earth in the far flung future and its strange native animals, intelligent plant creatures, and coin-sized humanoid aliens and what ''their'' societies are like in comparison to ours.

The only emulator I have installed is Dolphin, and I currently only have one game on it (NTSC Pikmin 2), that I obtained a while back in 2012. I don't have the means to dump my own ROMs for any console, nor am I comfortable with searching for ROMs online nowadays, so I'm stuck with just the one game for now. So aside from Pikmin 2, I can unfortunately only document any information that can be obtained by just playing the games by normal means on the physical consoles. I also don't have any means of directly capturing footage or images on my consoles (besides the screenshot/video feature on the Switch), so I'm limited further by that. I'm hoping to one day get things set up where I can do more, but I can't say if/when that will happen.

Hi there! I'm Midnight blue. I'm a rather new contributor to Pikipedia, but an almost life-long Pikmin fan. Welcome to my user page! There's not a lot to see here, but I hope you enjoy your visit regardless.

About me

I also have a budding interest in modding Pikmin games, though I'm still new to the practice.

I consider myself a pretty casual player of the Pikmin series, so I don't have any impressive records, nor do I really keep track of any of that stuff to begin with. While I enjoy the gameplay of the franchise, I find myself equally (or possibly even more) invested in what lore the series provides about things like a version of Earth in the far flung future and its strange native animals, intelligent plant creatures, and coin-sized humanoid aliens and what their societies are like in comparison to ours.

In recent years, I started studying Japanese on my own time for the sake of being able to read it, and I'm to a point where I can at least help translate individual words and short/simple sentences.

What can I do?

I currently own a US region Nintendo GameCube, Wii (though it's currently not hooked up and I've lost track of where it is in my house), Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and a Nintendo Switch. I have the US version of Pikmin 1-3, Hey Pikmin, New Play Control! Pikmin 1, along with Pikmin 3 Deluxe. I also own a Japanese GameCube and the JP versions of Pikmin 1 and 2.

The only emulator I have installed is Dolphin, and I currently only have one game on it (US Pikmin 2), that I obtained a while back in 2012. I don't have the means to dump my own ROMs for any console, nor am I comfortable with searching for ROMs online nowadays, so I'm stuck with just the one game for the time being. So aside from Pikmin 2, I can unfortunately only document any information that can be obtained by just playing the games by normal means on the physical consoles. I also don't have any means of directly capturing footage or images on my consoles (besides the standard screenshot/video feature on the Switch), so I'm limited further by that. I'm hoping to one day get things set up where I can do more, but I can't say if/when that will happen.
