Warp[edit]
Although I have not seen Warp teleport my opponent somewhere harmful like water (yet), I have seen Warp take them on top of a high ledge. Phineas81707 (talk) 00:01, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah, I'm thinking nobody ever really saw Warp teleport to harmful places. It was more like a "it would be nice to know for sure" thing. But your mention of high ledges is good. Can you give an example and put it on the page? Oh, and when you do, remove the todo tag. Might as well. — {EspyoT} 04:02, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
Shuffle to Victory[edit]
I've had the Shuffle result in me winning by having it rearrange the card to a winning card. Pikifan4 (talk) 12:19, 29 January 2016 (EST)
- Are you absolutely sure? I'm not going to deny you, but I just want to make sure that you weren't mistaken or anything. When I tried experimenting, a long time ago, I couldn't get it to happen at all, and I had cards with all slots filled up that wouldn't result in a bingo. — {EspyoT} 14:39, 29 January 2016 (EST)
Variation order[edit]
Okay, so me and Nieton are trying to figure out the order in which the game picks the variations of each stage, if there even is one. Let me document our findings:
- Nieton discovered that
CMCmn/system/vs_order.szs/vs_order.txt
has a list of all Bingo Battle maps, and each entry has something like "abc", "cab", "bca", "acb", etc. - When he changed all of those to "aaa", the game always gave him the same layout. Blanking the file also caused the game to crash.
- On this save file I have on an emulated EU P3, I have the first three Bingo Battle maps unlocked.
- I tried entering a stage, registering its layout, pausing, quitting, entering again, and repeating.
- For Shaded Terrace, I got the layout with Red Pikmin only 11 times, and the layout with Yellows as main, Reds as secondary 12 times. I didn't get the layout with Reds as the main, and Yellows as secondary, at all.
- For Stagnant Sea, I didn't record them, but I kept an eye out on which layouts I got. I only ever got the layout where the bridges are built, and the one that has a crystallized fruit in the center of the map, a bit north/south.
- For Twisted Cavern, I only ever got the layout that doesn't have Orange Bulborbs nor crystal gates.
- Changing the rules had no effect on the layouts I got.
- I tried it on my emulated US P3, with all Bingo Battle stages unlocked, and got the layout I never got in Shaded Terrace within 5 tries.
...I don't know what to make of this. — {EspyoT} 09:50, 14 April 2018 (EDT)
