The Tremendous Sniffer is found in the Twilight River. It is located past a [[reinforced wall]] in the area with the [[clipboard]]s and an [[Arachnode]]. The Tremendous Sniffer (オフランス?, lit.: "The France") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a pear. This fruit provides 2 cups of juice (one in ultra-spicy mode) for the leaders, and there is only one in Pikmin 3, found in the Twilight River. In Pikmin 4, both Tremendous Sniffers are found in the Primordial Thicket, one inside of the Cavern for a King.

The Tremendous Sniffer is found in the Twilight River. It is located past a reinforced wall in the area with the clipboards and an Arachnode. To obtain it, bomb rocks are required, because of the wall. The only bomb rocks in the area are found on the tin can near where the Puffy Blowhog is located. Throw 3 bombs to break the wall and recover the fruit.
There is a glitch that forgoes the use of bomb rocks. Order any Pikmin to grab onto the fruit. The next day, the fruit will somehow appear outside of the wall, making for an easy retrieval.

Primordial Thicket[edit]

There is a Tremendous Sniffer inside of a Puffstool west of the center of the Primordial Thicket. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Puffstool and clear out the nearby sticky mold; then, throw 12 Pikmin at it.
Cavern for a King[edit]
There is a Tremendous Sniffer inside of the northernmost Emperor Bulblax in the center of sublevel 5 of the Cavern for a King. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat all three Emperor Bulblaxes. Then, throw 12 Pikmin at it.

Golden Sniffer[edit]
Golden Sniffers are special treasures found only in Dandori Battles in Pikmin 4. One will appear at a predetermined location in the arena after a certain amount of time has passed (the time depends on the stage). In both Story Mode and Dandori Battle mode, Golden Sniffers are introduced in Dandori Castle and appear in all Dandori Battle stages after: Leafy Showdown, Hot Sandy Duel, and Final Battle. Unlike normal Tremendous Sniffers, Golden Sniffers are 30 in weight rather than 12. This makes it the heaviest (and thus most valuable) item in the mode, awarding the same amount in points: 30. Ignoring Dandorium weights, Golden Sniffers are the only treasures that can never become Bonus Finds.
