New Play Control! Pikmin 2, is part of the New Play Control! series. It has been released in Japan and Europe, and has a 14th May, 2009 release date for Australia; 2009 is the given date for American release. Like the first game's Wii version, the box art for every region is the same as for the GameCube release, within a New Play Control border.
New features
The most notable feature, as with Pikmin, is the different control scheme, which allows pointing at the screen to aim the cursor. This version also has widescreen support and the graphics are slightly enhanced over the GameCube title. There is no gameplay differences, it is just an enhanced version of Pikmin 2.
