Scrophularia xenomium - this is not the scientific name given by humans.

The Figwort is simply a cluster of tall, flower-bearing plants. It is non-native to the Pikmin world, hence 'xeno-' in its Latin name. When Olimar crashed on this planet, the Figworts' flowers were blue, and sometimes released extremely small flying insects (considering Olimar's size); in Pikmin 2, they are red, and wilted forms of this plant can be seen. Many wilted ones can be found on the first sublevel of the Frontier Cavern, hiding many Doodlebugs.
