:Well no. You see, we try to avoid using the term "Pikmin 1" because that doesn't exist. "Pikmin" is the correct term. However, the only way to surely disambiguate between the creatures and the first game is the ''italics''. Hence, in all place where we '''can''' use italics, we name the game "''Pikmin''" and italicize it. If we cannot (like in headers or in categories), we have to resort to "Pikmin 1".
