Template:Notes

Use

This template is used to display the various notes of the game, in a common format.

The use of this template is changing; old-style uses need to be changed to new-style uses.

New

Pass arguments for each subpage containing transcripted notes, out of the following:

• reel: Pikmin enemy reel notes
• olimar: Olimar's notes on enemies and plants
• louie: Louie's notes
• part: ship part notes
• journal: Olimar's notes on treasure
• journalnpc: Olimar's notes on treasure in New Play Control! Pikmin 2 (if different)
• sale: Sales Pitch
• series: Ship's announcements for series
• voyage: Olimar's Voyage Log
• monolog: Olimar's monologs in Pikmin 1
• ship: ship's dialogs

where each of these is exactly the same as the name of the subpage. For example, a typical treasure would have {{notes|journal=y|sale=y}}

Use this on articles to include subpages containing notes. Subpages for each type are as follows:

treasure

• /journal - Olimar's Journal
• /journal (NPC) - Olimar's Journal in New Play Control! Pikmin 2 (if different)
• /sale - Sales Pitch

enemy

• /reel - enemy reel notes (Pikmin)
• /olimar - Olimar's notes (Pikmin 2)
• /louie - Louie's notes (Pikmin 2)

part

• /notes - Olimar's notes on ship parts; those on discovering the part come first, then those on collecting it after a horizontal rule (----)
