I'm not totally sure I understand that bit about fans' reactions to Pikmin Extinction. Are they upset that it makes the game too easy because you can never really lose? It sounds more like they just don't like the concept of being able to lose all your Pikmin. —Jimbo Jambo
- No, it's the fans' feelings that getting a Pikmin Extinction is a bad thing for the player to do.GP 14:45, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Revisiting this here so it doesn't take up space on the Pikmin Family talk page. Can we just remove that section? It's pretty irrelevant and just silly, I think. —Jimbo Jambo
Do you have to start the game again if this happens? Because you can't carry pellets or carcasses to onions all by yourself. Snakeboss14File:Hairybulborb.jpg
Yes and no. When you land in a area the next day, the onions expel a single seed (Like when you first find them),this forces you to in truth, start your armies again. Joshazilla23
- Oh, I didn't know that. Snakeboss14File:Hairybulborb.jpg
I had totally forgotten about this.... Revisiting one more time. There's really no point in criticizing such overtly self-destructive behavior as intentionally killing all your Pikmin. —Jimbo Jambo 17:29, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
