From the design and proportion, it is likely a baby shoe. It is found on the eighth and final sublevel of [[Frontier Cavern]] and is in the possession of an [[Empress Bulblax]] that constantly gives birth to [[Bulborb Larva]]e. When retrieved, the [[Rush Boots]] component of the [[Exploration Kit]] is unlocked. Like [[Treasure#Dynamic weights|some other treasures]], if the player defeats the Empress Bulblax, but does not have enough Pikmin to carry the Repugnant Appendage, which requires the strength of twenty Pikmin, it will change weight to match the player's army.
