The Consolation Prize (なんちゃってノーブル?, lit.: "Fake Noble"; known as the Blues Eradicator in the European version) is a treasure in Hey! Pikmin. It is a silver ring with a blue gem on top. The S.S. Dolphin II explains how the gem "prevents all light from passing through it except for waves towards the upper end of the visible spectrum". This is roughly true: light that hits the gem bounces back to the eye, except for waves on the upper part of the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum – greens, yellows, and reds. This means only blue reaches our eyes.
