The Ambiguous Goo is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a used tube of gray acrylic paint. Like other treasures in the Soulful Artist Series, this one is reminiscent of Rock Pikmin. It can be found behind a crystal wall, which are one of the Rock Pikmin's most notable obstacles, is in what is likely the first place players will discover Rock Pikmin, and is located in a dark and cold cave like the Rock Pikmin themselves.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Ambiguous Goo is lying on the ground in the far eastern side of sublevel 2 of the Kingdom of Beasts. It is blocked by a crystal wall, meaning Rock Pikmin are essentially required to collect this treasure, unless bomb rocks are used instead. Five Pikmin are required to carry the treasure.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

A bit of white. A bit of black. This color has made its home halfway between the two. Some say it's an ambiguous hue that refuses to plant its flag. But maybe it just enjoys living between two ends of the spectrum, enjoying the best of both worlds.

Olimar's notes[edit]

This color reminds me of Rock Pikmin. When I first touched one, I was surprised by how cold it felt. It was a pleasant sensation, and they didn't seem to mind my curiosity. Much like this treasure, Rock Pikmin were found in a dark, chilly place. How appropriate.

Louie's notes[edit]

The boss likes to wear this color. Guess it suits grown-ups.
