The Blonde Impostor (ミカケヒトシ?, lit.: "Similar Appearance") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. This is a golden kiwifruit, and like the Disguised Delicacy, which is also a kiwi, it splits into two pieces when discovered whole. Each half produces only three-fourths of a cup of juice, so for the full cup and a half, both pieces must be recovered (this is limited to three-eighths and three-fourths respectively in Ultra-Spicy mode). This fruit does not appear in either Mission Mode or Bingo Battle. In Pikmin 4, it can be found in the Secluded Courtyard and Cavern for a King.
Collecting the fruit[edit]
The following article or section contains guides. |
First, you must obtain the Winged Pikmin and order them to lift the dam in order to open the second half of the area. Ride the lily pad until near the Bouncy Mushroom, and throw at least one leader as well as some Rock Pikmin and Winged Pikmin onto the Bouncy Mushroom. The fruit is inside the crystal. Any type of Pikmin can carry it back, but using the Winged Pikmin is much easier as they can carry it over water. Just make sure to defeat the nearby Arachnode so they do not get stuck in its web. If you use grounded Pikmin, the electric gate must be destroyed or the Pikmin will take the Burrowing Snagret path, which will make it emerge from the ground and eat the carrying Pikmin.

Cavern for a King[edit]
A Blonde Impostor is lying in a pond along the western edge of sublevel 19 of the Cavern for a King, next to three Cupid's Grenades and a Zest Bomb. To collect this treasure, you must throw 5 Blue Pikmin or Winged Pikmin at it.
Notes
Brittany's notes
“Aha! This furry little fruit tried to hide itself under a veil of camouflage and fuzz, but I won't be fooled. Tell me, Ms. Fauna, if you are indeed animal and not vegetable, WHERE ARE YOUR LEGS?!
Checkmate, fruit.”Schnauz's notes[edit]
