The Deity's Portrait is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a joker playing card depicting a mermaid blowing a trumpet on one hand while holding a flag on the other. Like the Devil's Portrait, it is found in Dream Home but isn't useful to open the safe. As all the cards from the Collection Obsession Series are placed on the ground with only the back visible, the Deity's Portrait act as a red herring trying to fool the player into thinking it is one of the cards used to open the safe.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Deity's Portrait is lying on the ground at the northwest of sublevel 1 of the Dream Home. It is guarded by a Sunsquish, which should be defeated before attempting to collect this treasure, although it is not strictly necessary. To collect this treasure, you must throw 1 Pikmin at it.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

This portrait shows a half-man, half-fish deity worshipped by ancient sailors. He was known for being both kind and cruel. One minute he'd test the sailors by sending bad weather their way—the next he'd save them with a blast of air from his horn to their sails.

Olimar's notes[edit]

I once had a trump card—a premium license given only to first-rate space-navigation officers that allows you to bypass the arduous license renewal process. But I'm sure I lost that qualification with this recent accident. Guess it's back to annual visits to the license-renewal planet on the edge of space. The lines are always so long...

Louie's notes[edit]

I've always wanted to play the trumpet.
