Breadbugs cannot be attacked by simply throwing Pikmin at them, swarming, or charging. In Pikmin, Olimar can punch them to damage them, but they will attempt to shake him off if damaged too much. They take a small amount of damage when a Pikmin is thrown precisely on top of them, and this causes them to roll over and drop the treasure they're carrying in Pikmin and Pikmin 2, or to run around for a while in Pikmin 4. | Breadbugs cannot be attacked by simply throwing Pikmin at them, swarming, or charging. Breadbugs, as their name suggests, have a distinct resemblance to rolls of bread. They are bipedal and have small legs with two clawed toes each, and a small snout on the roll-like part of their body. Two eyes are above this nose, tucked under a fold of blubber with a brown color similar to that of a toasted roll. Three bumps of fat are atop their bodies, along their back. In Pikmin and Pikmin 2, these bumps are smooth, whereas in Pikmin 4 they appear more defined, as if cut with a knife. | |||
