- This article is about the red grapes in Pikmin 3. For the green grapes, see Dawn Pustules.
The Dusk Pustules (ムラサキタワワ?, lit.: "Purple Abundance") are fruits in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. They are actually a cluster of purple grapes. In Pikmin 3's Story Mode, they appear three times: in the Garden of Hope, the Distant Tundra, and the Twilight River. The Dusk Pustules, along with their counterpart, the Dawn Pustules, are unique in the way that they are obtained in Pikmin 3: they are collected like fragments, being individually plucked, with Pikmin returning to the cluster until all fruits have been collected. In Pikmin 4 the entire cluster is just one object, and it appears in the Doppelgänger's Den and the Primordial Thicket.
In Bingo Battle, the fruit is only accounted for after the final piece has been delivered to an Onion. When that happens, the player that collected the most pieces is the one that gets the square. If both players collected 10 pieces, they will both be awarded the squares. Finally, if both players get 10 pieces, and both had the Dusk Pustules as their one-away, the player who brought the last piece will be given the square, and will win the match.

Garden of Hope[edit]
The Dusk Pustules in the Garden of Hope are beyond an electric gate past the Fiery Blowhogs. There is a cave beyond the gate, and inside it, there will be a set of elevator platforms, with some Dusk Pustules just beyond them. First, put a few Pikmin on the opposite side, to give the Pikmin carrying the fruit an easier path. Put a few more Pikmin on the grapes to collect them. However, the elevator platforms can be bypassed completely by using Winged Pikmin.
Distant Tundra[edit]
The Dusk Pustules in the Distant Tundra are in the segment where the Vehemoth Phosbat is first encountered. After turning on the lights, there will be an unfinished climbing stick, leading up to a bunch of Dusk Pustules. Note that if the Vehemoth Phosbat has not been defeated, the Pikmin will take a longer route to the Drake. You can either let a few Pikmin carry the grapes the long way as the fight with the Phosbat goes on, or defeat the boss and move the paper bag outside of its cave to quickly retrieve the fruit.
Twilight River[edit]
The Dusk Pustules in the Twilight River are across the river from the landing site. Near the pipe that leads into the second part of the area, there is an inlet of land, which contains some Male Sheargrubs, pellets, and a bunch of Dusk Pustules. Winged Pikmin are needed to carry the grapes back to the Drake. If you do not have Winged Pikmin, you will have to use Blue Pikmin, but the Water Dumples nearby should be taken out prior to collection.
Collecting the treasure[edit]

Doppelgänger's Den[edit]
There is a cluster of Dusk Pustules hanging from a cobweb near the southwestern corner of sublevel 3 of the Doppelgänger's Den. To collect this treasure, you must be blown from the nearby fan onto the moving platform, jumping onto the metallic platform with Oatchi when you reach it, and then continuing to ride the platform to its southernmost point. Then, throw 15 Pikmin at the treasure.
Primordial Thicket[edit]
There is a cluster of Dusk Pustules sitting on a rock ledge on the western edge of the overworld. To collect this treasure, you must throw 15 Pikmin at it. There is toxic sticky mold nearby, so it is wise to clear that out before attempting to transport it.
