This stage is divided into two distinct parts. Upon starting, there is an electric gate to the left of the base. Three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs are through the open section with a stronger electric gate to the north. To access the upper portion, the Orange Bulborb and Dwarf Orange Bulborbs should be defeated, although this is for ease and Oatchi can easily pass by since Pikmin cannot follow through the pup tunnel.
