The quickest way to defeat it without items is as-intended, tackling it head-on (or side-on) by constantly swapping sides of the arena to dodge the attacks. [[Rush Boots]] are heavily reccomended as otherwise the window for dodging the attacks is very slim, be wary of Bulborb Larvae also as they can easily pick pikmin off of Oatchi's back.
