The Seed Hive (タントタネギシリ?, lit.: "Closely Packed Plenty of Seeds") is a fruit in Pikmin 3 and a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a papaya. In Pikmin 3, it is worth two and a half bottles of juice (one and a quarter in Ultra-Spicy mode), and is only found in the Twilight River. In Pikmin 4, it can be found in the Frozen Inferno and the Giant's Hearth.

There is a Seed Hive behind a corner near the center of sublevel 3 of the Frozen Inferno. It is guarded by an Arctic Cannon Larva, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 12 Pikmin at it.
Giant's Hearth

There is a Seed Hive inside of a Bug-Eyed Crawmad near the central north of the map. To collect this treasure, you must defeat the Bug-Eyed Crawmad, then throw 12 Blue Pikmin at it, or 12 Pikmin if you have already constructed the clay valve and deactivated the sprinkler.
