The Straight-and-Narrow Track is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a piece of a toy train track.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Straight-and-Narrow Track is on a platform at the far west of sublevel 2 of the Ultimate Testing Range. The path back to the S.S. Beagle is blocked by three Miniature Snootwhackers and a Withering Blowhog, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 7 Pikmin at it. The exit is block by an iron fence, so you must either use Winged Pikmin or press the button in the center of the sublevel to collect it.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

This straight railway track is perfect for the person who knows exactly where they want to go in life: from point A directly to point B. No twists, no turns, and no turning back. It may not be the most adventurous route, but adventure is not for everyone.

Olimar's notes

They say that following the straight and narrow path is a virtue, but I've learned firsthand that it doesn't always lead you to your destination. When I started working directly under the president of Hocotate Freight, I thought it was the inevitable next step in my career. All it led to was piles and piles of paperwork... I'll be happy if my kids take a slightly twisted route in life, as long as it helps them achieve their dreams.

Louie's notes

The color makes me hungry for some delicious fruit.

Trivia

  • The Straight-and-Narrow Track's name is a double meaning: The treasure itself is, literally, a straight and narrow piece of train track. "Straight and narrow," however, also, roughly, means a path that is, relatively speaking, honest and moral, as Olimar's notes mention.
