The following article or section is in need of assistance from someone who plays Pikmin 3. |
The rumble is a built-in feature of the GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch controllers. It provides tactile feedback to some actions happening in the game. Events that cause the controller to rumble are sometimes accompanied with the camera shaking, to further enhance the sensation of a powerful action.
The rumble feature can be enabled or disabled in Pikmin and Pikmin 2's options menu. In New Play Control! Pikmin and New Play Control! Pikmin 2 however, this setting has to be changed on the Home menu, accessible by pressing on the Wii Remote while playing any Wii game.
Oddly, in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, actions that will make player 1's controller rumble will also make player 2's controller rumble, though weaker. This is true regardless of what game mode or controllers are used.
