In 2013, Sanei re-released the plushes from the Pikmin 2 set, except for Oilmar and Louie. The only notable distinguishing features between the 2013 set and the plushes from 2004 are the tags sewn onto the 2013 plushes, which were changed, and the rebranded square paper tag on the plushes. This re-release had multiple variations for the tags that were seen sewn onto the plushes, with a large rectangular tag and a taller but less broad square tag being known to exist for plushes from this re-release. Both tags feature a Pikmin logo made from leaves.
