Can someone upload a better image of the Dwarf Bulbear for the infobox? The image shows the back of two Dwarf Bulbears and the other one looks a little odd. The trivia currently reads "''The Dwarf Bulbear is the only Dwarf Bulborb in the Grub-Dog family.''" Green wants to remove this, and I have to agree with him. Dwarf Bulbears are not Dwarf Bulborbs - they are both "dwarves" but they are not related. By the way, to the first anon: I think you may have gotten your taxonomy a bit confused. Grub-dog and Breadbug are the families (no scientific name given), ''Oculus'' and ''Pansaurus'' are the genus names, and ''terribilis'' (Spotty/Dwarf Bulbear) and ''pseudoculii'' (Dwarf Bulborb) are the species. {{user:Jimbo Jambo/sig}} 06:40, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

I've noticed that the Dwarf Bulbears in the Subterranean Lair do actually "switch parents" if their current "parent" is defeated or the Dwarf Bulbear becomes lost. It will follow the nearest Spotty Bulbear if this happens. I was wondering if I should change the Biology section. It currently says the Dwarf Bulbears do not "switch parents." {{User:Mariotime315/sig}}

It will probably help if you point out that this behavior can be better seen at the Subterranean Lair, so that people who want to see this in action can know how to try it quickly. — '''{''[[User:Espyo|Espyo]]''[[User talk:Espyo|T]]}''' 17:33, 26 September 2016 (EDT)
== Shrieking == | |||
I just wanted to check if anyone has a video of the Dwarf Bulbear shrieking to wake up a Spotty Bulbear. For some reason, it won't do it in my game. It will wake up the Spotty Bulborbs in Challenge Mode, but not the Spotty Bulbears! I see that the article says that it should happen, and I don't know if it's an inaccuracy or not...

ok so i just took off for the night in preplexing pool and i got to the point where the enemies attack the ship, the usual blowhog, wollywog and bulbears (4 to be exact) but the bulbears were acting strange, they seemed to be shaking their heads, twice as fast... I've just discovered Dwarf Bulbears appear in the Distant Spring only after day 15. I killed the tree bulbears, amazed by the fact that the dwarf ones never appeared. On day 16, there were only this guys. Snakeboss14

- I'd say use the concept art further down the page in the infobox, since the screenshot doesn't capture its subjects very well.GP
Trivia section[edit]
The trivia currently reads "The Dwarf Bulbear is the only Dwarf Bulborb in the Grub-Dog family." Green wants to remove this, and I have to agree with him. Dwarf Bulbears are not Dwarf Bulborbs - they are both "dwarves" but they are not related. It might be worthy of a rephrase were it not already covered in detail in the first paragraph of the article, so I think it can be removed completely.
By the way, to the first anon: I think you may have gotten your taxonomy a bit confused. Grub-dog and Breadbug are the families (no scientific name given), Oculus and Pansaurus are the genus names, and terribilis (Spotty/Dwarf Bulbear) and pseudoculii (Dwarf Bulborb) are the species. —Jimbo Jambo 06:40, April 2, 2010 (UTC)
