He is a ranger from the planet Ohri who excels at solo missions. Once Dingo has been rescued, the player can have him complete [[Dandori Battle]]s, [[Dandori Challenge]]s and [[Night expedition]]s. To do this, the player must first fail the battle, challenge or night and then select the "Help" option on the retry screen. He is the only member of the [[Rescue Corps]] besides the player character and oatchi to command Pikmin at any point.
