The Seed Hive (タントタネギシリ^?, lit.: "Closely Packed Plenty of Seeds") is a fruit in Pikmin 3. It is a papaya worth two and a half bottles of juice (one and a quarter in Ultra-Spicy mode), and is only found in the Twilight River. In Mission Mode, the fruit appears in multiple stages, and is worth 200 Pokos.

The Seed Hive is dropped from the sky upon defeating the Scornet Maestro, for whatever reason. Since Louie and the fruit are the most important objects, send them first before harvesting the Scornet Maestro and the Scornets. If Winged Pikmin are to carry the Seed Hive, make sure the Arachnode near base is taken out, as well as the Flighty Joustmite.

Collecting the treasure

There is a Seed Hive behind a corner near the center of Sublevel 3 of the Frozen Inferno. It is guarded by an Arctic Cannon Larva, which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. To collect this treasure, you must throw 12 Pikmin at it.
