Dandori Battles are a new challenge in Pikmin 4, serving as a successor to 2-Player Battle from Pikmin 2 and Bingo Battle from Pikmin 3. In Dandori Battles, the player and an unknown Olimar-looking creature compete against each other to collect as much treasure as possible. Collecting treasures earns a player points; the player with the most points when the timer runs out is declared the winner. Dandori Battles may be available as a 2 player challenge mode, similar to 2-player battle and Bingo Battle from the previous games.

When playing Dandori Battles, Player 1 plays as the main leader, while an Olimar-like creature competes with the player. In this context, they are known as "Dandori Challenges".
