Once the Pikmin is at the maximum friendship level, you'll get a new expedition for a gift box. After collecting this box, an animation will play that shows the Pikmin jumping into the gift box. The Pikmin emerges as a Decor Pikmin. Its decor type is determined by where its seedling was found. Only the Pikmin you leveled up can go on this expedition, and the expedition's destination is the place where the Pikmin's seedling was discovered.
