The Key is a treasure in Pikmin 2, which obviously is the only treasure whose name really tells what it is. The Key is found inside the body of a Beady Long Legs on the last (5) sublevel of the Citadel of Spiders. The Key doesn't only increase your Poko total, it also unlocks Challenge Mode, which can be found in the Main Menu.
In all of the Challange Mode levels, you'll need to find The Key to advance to the next level or leave, it is commonly found in an enemy including bosses or far from your landing spot.
