White Pikmin
Pikminicus niveus
White Pikmin are the second secondary Pikmin that you get in Pikmin 2. You find them first in the White flower Garden. They are smaller than other Pikmin and they have red eyes devoid of pupils, but this allows the Pikmin to sense treasures completely buried underground. They are the fastest of all Pikmin, and they are the only Pikmin, when bloomed , to be able to follow you closely when you have the Rush Boots. They also carry objects the fastest and are the only known Pikmin that have red eyes. These Pikmin are immune to poison since they contain a poisonous substance in their bodies. They can also destroy poison pipes and walk through poisonous emmisions. They also when eaten release their toxic secretions and deal heavy damage to their predator. Sadly, this doesn't prevent their death, so be careful and only use this ability as a very last resort. Many Ivory Candypop Buds are found in the White Flower Garden on Sublevel 3 when you have 15 or less whites, and on Sublevel 4 of the Subterranean Complex. These Pikmin are useful in carrying treasures, especially if you want to do so quickly.
