In Pikmin, they revert to leaf when in the ground, in 3 they will usually revert to Flowers (?), idk for Pikmin 2. Pikifan4 (talk) 08:44, 5 February 2016 (EST)

In pikmin 1 and 2 it takes 2 minutes to mature one stage and then another two minutes to mature to its last stage of maturity taking 4 minutes to grow from leaf to flower in total

I seriously can't tell what the criteria for maturation is. For instance, all the Pikmin with you go from leaf to bud when you get the Rock Pikmin in 3-A, no combat involved. Maybe it depends on the number of Pikmin you have with you? — {Espyo^T} 08:53, 25 June 2017 (EDT)
