The Proton X (プロトンＸ^?) is a treasure exclusive to the Japanese version of Pikmin 2. It is a National Hi-Top AA battery. It is found in Submerged Castle on sublevel 4. It is very similar to the Proton AA found in the other versions of the game.

この星で最初に見つけたお宝によく似ている。だがよく見ると、大きさが少し違うようだ。たまには以前のお宝一覧を読み返してみようか。苦労した思い出にふける夜も悪くない。
