"Gray" Candypop Buds are Candypop Buds found only in Pikmin 3. Their behavior is identical to all other Candypop Buds, except when a Pikmin type other than Rock Pikmin are thrown in, Rock Pikmin sprouts will be expelled. Five Pikmin can be thrown in before the plant withers away. If Rock Pikmin are thrown in, they will be reverted to leaf stages, and the number of Pikmin that can be thrown in will not decrease.
