This area is also represented in mission mode as the Shaded Garden. It may seem as though, with "garden" in the name, that it was a representation of the Garden of Hope, but the Garden of Hope has almost no connections to logs at all. The prototype area was most likely going to contain Blue Pikmin as the species found, and it is also possible that the Quaggled Mireclops, a very water and plant based boss with wooden legs, was going to be the main boss of the area.

Red Mushroom
The Red Mushroom appears in all three games. It is common in Pikmin, appearing in every area. In Pikmin 2 they are rare, only appearing in the Valley of Repose near the landing area. In Pikmin 3, Red mushrooms are found only in the Tropical Wilds. Red Mushrooms are never identified and they don't have any purpose other than aesthetics. It is possible that the Red Mushroom could be based on the Mycena haematopus.

I am CraftedPbody as my profile says, but my name is Jordan, (also said in my profile...) I am a huge fan of Pikmin and I also love to record, which actually plays a role into what I do around here, I gather images and videos for the wiki. It seems as though I have a talent for stiching together maps, but that's nothing special...

I also have many ideas for the pikmin games and I wish for some of them to come to be.
