The Waddlepus is an aquatic enemy in Pikmin 3. It resembles a purple starfish-like creature with several yellow holes on its back. It is harmless and incapable of killing your Pikmin.
The Waddlepus sits idly and is generally passive. However, once Pikmin are in its line of sight, it will inflate its back and blow bubbles everywhere, which will encase your Pikmin, sending them floating away until they pop. When attacked, it will slowly waddle around, and inflate to shake off the Pikmin.
