Hocotatians are a commercialized civiliaztion, and repaying a debt is the storyline behind Pikmin 2. Hocotatians have similar family structures to modern day western cultures, that is, husband and wife and kids. Hocotatians also enjoy art, and exhibit many characterustics of humans.
